Community Guidelines
Locked

Erin and Cate have posted these guidelines to ensure that everyone within the community has the experience they deserve. It’s important that you understand the value of moderating your content responsibly.

The Community Do’s:

Respect the community and the people in it. We are a community filled with many types of foodies and cooking backgrounds. It’s a roundtable of unique support, knowledge and experience levels. It’s expected — and encouraged — for people to have different thoughts and opinions. So, please be polite and respectful in your interactions with other members.

Give credit where credit is due. If you are posting a recipe, let us know how you found out about it. Links are helpful if they are available.

Utilize the search function. Before beginning a new topic in the Forums, try searching at the top right of your screen to see if the subject has already been addressed.

Become familiar with punctuations, similes and graphics.  Tone is one of the hardest things to convey online.  It sometimes causes miscommunication and hurt feelings.

The Community Don’ts:

Don’t be rude or inappropriate. The Pillsbury community is not a place for you to harass, abuse, impersonate or intimidate others.   Don’t post anything that you wouldn’t say to someone in person.

Don’t touch our wallets. Please don’t solicit. If we find you selling products, services or yourself through your posts, we will warn and/or ban you from the site.

DON’T SHOUT. Writing in all capital letters means you're screaming in the digital world. So, please turn off the caps lock off.

If we see inappropriate behavior or receive a valid complaint about your conduct, we’ll send you a warning or, depending on the offense, may terminate your account.
