I *Heart* Summer Sandwiches
In the summers, I notice my kitchen creativity turns to
dishes that can be served warm or cold.
Sandwiches are one of those dishes.
What kind of sandwiches have you been making lately? Please
share your favorite homemade sandwich combinations.
I swear nothing beats summertime tomatoes, basil from the
garden and dash or two of olive oil on top of your favorite bread.
If you are looking for sandwich inspiration, you are on the
right site. Pillsbury has close to 300 recipes.

If you are entertaining, who says you can’t serve
sandwiches- make a sandwich bar. It's an easy way to please the entire baseball team or family
reunion. Set out white and wheat sandwich buns and your favorite fixings:
deli meats, sliced cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. A selection of tasty
condiments such as mayo, honey mustard and barbeque sauce will let everyone
have their sandwich their way!
Next time I’m hanging out with my little cousin I think I’m
going to make this:
Bake some Pillsbury® Breadsticks and allow to cool
slightly. Meanwhile, mix equal amounts of peanut butter and grape jelly to a
small dish. Gently swirl grape jelly into the peanut butter with the tip of a
knife. (Microwave a few seconds if peanut butter is stiff.) Dip warm
breadsticks into the PB & J mixture for the goodness of this classic
sandwich enjoyed in a new way!
