Autumnal Entrées: Crescents and Caramel to Ring in the Season!
Autumn has arrived and with it comes some of the year’s best eats. Whether you’re cooking for the whole family and just need a snack to help watch the leaves change color, Pillsbury products are perfect for the season. Here are some Fall-inspired foods found around the Web.
Super quick, super easy, and good for the whole family, Pigs in a Blanket are a back-to-school season favorite. In the first of three crescent roll recipes, this blogger incorporates a bit of cheddar cheese into the mix. If you’re interested in Kid-Friendly Recipes, this site has one every week, so you might want to bookmark it.

In an effort to have each of this week’s recipes get progressively more creative, we’ll follow up with some Apple Dumplings. This traditional, Southern chef notes that this recipe is actually among her “top 3 dessert recipes. Ever.” (though it could easily work as a side dish also) Using Granny Smith apples, Pillsbury crescent rolls, cinnamon, and some Mountain Dew, she creates something that looks absolutely amazing in the photos.

For our third crescent roll recipe this week, we’re ready for the main course. This Chicken Alfredo Pot Pie recipe comes from a Pillsbury cookbook and features chopped, cooked chicken, Alfredo sauce, Parmesan, and some Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers. Again, if the photos are any indication, this is one that will please the whole family, yet is still quite simple.

I’ve noted some dessert pizzas during the last few weeks, but this is one of the best I’ve seen yet. Pillsbury pizza dough, topped with chocolate chips, peanut butter, miniature marshmallows, and chopped pecans create one incredible-looking pizza (the blogger considered calling it “Paradise on a Pizza”. If you’ve never tried to make a dessert pizza before, this is a great place to get started and a sure crowd-pleaser.

Lastly, we have what is without doubt one of the best-looking recipes I’ve seen in months. The Caramel Apple Cream Cheese Cookie Bar is not the simplest recipe you’ll ever find, but once you click the below link you’ll be sold on it. Featuring the stunning combination of Pillsbury Sugar Cookie dough, granola bars, breakfast cereal, cream cheese, apple pie filling, caramel, and just a bit of melted butter, this is one you can surprise the kids with after school, treat your family to for a get together, or enjoy all by yourself.
