Crescent rolls

I found a recipe in one of my Pillsbury Holiday cookbooks for breakfast stollen.  I changed the filling to apple and baked.  It was very yummy!  What you do is spread out the whole roll of crescent rolls into 1 long piece.  Press the seams together and down the middle put the filling.  On both sides you want to cut partway into the dough.  Criss cross the strips and bake.  I made a frosting glaze.  And they went fast!

Re: Crescent rolls

I love this recipe too. Actually, I found a new product on the refrigerated dough shelf, called Crescent Recipe Creations. This dough does not have to be seamed!Yes It is just a crescent dough pad without those triangles. It saves a lot of time and effort for such recipes, please give it a try next time and let us know what you thinkBig Smile
