Re: Getting son to eating breakfast at home

Are you asking re a young (school age) son - or an almost adult son - who might be working full or part time or going to college?

If he wants to eat out ... tell him to pay for his own breakfast (and can he get there on his own? gas is expensive!)

What type of breakfast does he like when he goes to a restaurant?   Is it healthy? Not too fatty?  Can you make a similar breakfast?  Can he make it?

We only go out to breakfast for special occasions.  And when traveling or on vacation.   I feel we can make healthier breakfasts at home ... and $$$ do add up.   If you are the one paying for his breakfast at a restaurant and driving him there  ... does he know that the $$$ spent will be deducted from something that he'd rather have?  New computer, vacation, camp, etc.

I agree if you make something at home that he likes it is easier and less expensive then the hassle of going out!
