Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I am so sad that your marketing people did not do us baby boomers justice when they decided that you needed to discontinue the Perfect Portions biscuits.  My husband and I loved them and used them on a weekly basis.  The frozen biscuits are not as convienent and I have used them in the past but do not like them as well.  Shame on you for taking them off of the market

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I loved those biscuits also they were nice to have on hand. I would buy two boxes at a time  and would freeze them and they were just as fresh and moist. Mr Dough boy you need to get them back in the stores and make people like me a verry happy baker.Sad

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

It seems that I'm not the only one who liked the Perfect Portions.  Tell me, and the others too, why has something so well received been removed from grocery shelves.  Being alone, I sure don't want to open and bake a whole package.  These Perfect Portions were just PERFECT.  Can you bring them back?  If they are currently available, please tell me which stores carry them.

Thanks,

AAH

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I am highly upset that these biscuits are no longer available.  I find it very hard to believe that they were not good sellers.  They were convenient for single people as well as people with kids, teenagers, etc.  I really hope they consider putting these back on the market.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

These biscuits were fantastic.....It was bad enough for us Canadians when we had to drive 70 miles to get these and several other Pillsbury items that they deem we aren't good enough to have up here in the great white north,  but now to discontinue our all time favorite is an outrage.

We weren't alone in our Perfect Portion quest. We turned family and friends on to these delicious morsels, and in berry season, we always had 5 or 6 boxes on hand for the perfect strawberry shortcake.

The McGrath household for one will stop buying not just Pillsbury, but the entire General Mills product line in protest.

I suggest all fans of the Perfect Portion join our boycott till this wrong has been righted.

I am not sure who and/or where you took a survey but obviously there are many of us that felt Pillsbury hit the jackpot creating Perfect Portions. Why would a single person or a family of two buy the canned stuff or the frozen bag. PP was economically a great deal.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

My wife and I liked these because we could easily make a breakfast without having many extra biscuits to go stale. The last time I bought some they were moldy however and much of the packaging indicated that it was not sealing properly. Pillsbury sent me a coupon to get a free package of Perfect Portions but they had apparently discontinued the product before I got the coupon.

Re: Perfect Portions biscuits

I just joined this site for the sole purpose of finding out what happened to Perfect Portions biscuits.  I am very disappointed to find out what I thought was true, that they have been discontinued.  I find it strange that Pillsbury management says that they did not sell as good as they predicted.  They were always disappearing from the shelves in my area(S. La), which told me they were in high demand, many of my friends bought them, my Mom loved them when she could find them, and by the comments on this forum, it seems as there was a fairly high demand for this great product.  I, like many others here, do not like biscuits in a can.  I've eaten them for over 30 yrs.  They are hard to peel apart and whether they are Grands, or whatever, the taste is not all that grand.  Two, buttery, flaky biscuits were "perfect."  I no longer buy any biscuits, much less Pillsbury, as they all fall short of Perfect Portions biscuits.  Management should take a look at this product again.  Perhaps 4-8 biscuits in the box, individually wrapped.  This would appeal to families as well as individuals like myself.  These biscuits just taste better.  Put them in a better location on the shelves.  My local stores always had them on the bottom where only those who took the time to find them, could find them among the dozens of canned biscuits.  I sincerely hope some form of these will be back in the stores.
