Cooking For Two: Meal Time Dips!
Maybe it’s the summer heat, but I tend to make more cold/room temperature dips as meals or dessert for the hubby and me. Now often, to make it for two vs. a party of 16, I use a much smaller dish and often cut the recipe in half.
After seeing the latest newsletter with the member’s only recipe for S’more Dip, I wanted to reach out to you and see what you’ve done with dips when cooking for two.
Have you used a dip for a main part of your meal? If so, please share it with us your recipes, tips and tricks!
These are a few things I’ve done:
(1) The cold Mexican seven-layer dip is one we make often.
I've seen plenty of versions! Here is one:

(2) Also, when we’re tried of making big salads- I’ll cut up our favorite veggies, make basic dip like this Herbed Cheese Spread:

(3) Finally, I loved this Mixed Olive Spread recipe. Served it with bread and hummus. Yum.
