why not?!
okay i work at elementary school with headstart kids and just find it so rediculous that things i ate as a kid are no longer on the menu for todays generation. i mean given the fact that i am healthy as can be and still eat the same foods i ate back then and my daughters just as healthy are we really being health conscientous or are we just putting kids on a diet. i've talked to the cook for headstart kids who has told me that can no longer serve syrup pancakes or french toast sticks. kids can have a roll but without the butter. and even hamburger is more frequently getting substituted with ground chilcken. on top of that the cooks are not aloud to add spices like salt or pepper. does anyone else think this is too much pressure on young kids?! it's no wonder there are more and more youths thinking they are too fat and need to lose weight.
